Marketplace Terms

Rules for buying, selling, listing, transferring, or interacting with items on Digital Corals.

Last updated: 27 May 2026

1. User Responsibility

Users are responsible for: checking listing details; verifying NFT identity; reviewing images and metadata; understanding what is and is not included; ensuring wallet addresses are correct; understanding transaction fees; and reviewing any coral custody expectations.

2. Listings

A listing must not be false, misleading, fraudulent, unlawful, or infringe another person's rights. Digital Corals may remove or suspend listings that appear to be inaccurate, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with the project's purpose.

3. Transactions

Marketplace transactions may be final and irreversible once approved on a blockchain network. Users are responsible for reviewing all transaction prompts before confirming.

4. Fees

Digital Corals may charge fees for marketplace activity, minting, updating, listing, sales, transfers, or related services. Any applicable fees should be shown before the user confirms the relevant action.

5. Disputes

Digital Corals may assist with disputes where possible but is not responsible for resolving private disputes between users unless required by law or expressly stated.

6. Physical Coral and Custody

Where a marketplace item is associated with a real coral, users must understand that living coral involves biological risk. Transfer of an NFT does not automatically guarantee transfer, survival, health, shipping, or legal ownership of a physical coral unless expressly stated.
