Intellectual Property Policy

Ownership and permitted use of Digital Corals content, branding, software, and user uploads.

Last updated: 27 May 2026

1. Digital Corals IP

Digital Corals owns or licenses rights in: website content, branding, logos, graphics, UI designs, text, product names, platform structure, NFT display systems, metadata frameworks, coral record systems, animations, and software and code where applicable. Users must not copy, reproduce, resell, modify, or misuse Digital Corals intellectual property without permission.

2. User-Submitted Content

When users upload content, including coral images, tank images, text, records, metadata, or updates, they retain any rights they already own. By uploading content, users grant Digital Corals a licence to use, display, store, process, reproduce, and publish that content as necessary to provide the service.

3. User Warranty

Users confirm that uploaded content: belongs to them or is authorised for use; does not infringe third-party rights; is not unlawful; is not misleading; and does not contain harmful content.

4. NFT Media Rights

Owning a Digital Corals NFT does not automatically transfer copyright in the image, artwork, metadata framework, platform design, or Digital Corals brand unless expressly stated. NFT ownership usually means ownership or control of the blockchain token, not unrestricted ownership of all associated intellectual property.

5. Brand Use

Users may not use the Digital Corals name, logo, branding, or visual identity in a way that suggests partnership, endorsement, official status, or commercial authorisation without written permission.
